Jamaica (Land of wood and water) is one of the three islands in the Northern Caribbean forming the Greater Antilles. It is the largest English-speaking country in the Caribbean Sea, stretching 146 miles from east to west. Jamaica is the birth place of Reggae a musical term first appeared in print with the 1968 rocksteady hit "Do the Reggae".
